Introduction to Terra: A scalable platform for biomedical research

Terra is a cloud-native platform for biomedical researchers to access data, run analysis tools, and collaborate. These two-day, hands-on virtual workshop sessions will teach you the skills you need to know to start working and collaborating securely in Terra.

Specifically, you’ll learn about:

  • Terra architecture as it relates to cloud-based data sets, tools, and computing resources
  • How data is organized in Terra
  • How to run a WDL workflow to automate analysis
  • How to launch a Cloud Environment from your Terra workspace to run interactive analysis tools like Jupyter Notebooks, RStudio, and Galaxy
Multiple sessions are available through October. Each workshop day runs 10:00 am - 12:00 pm ET. Registration is limited to 100 people per session.

After registering, a confirmation email will be sent to you with a Zoom invite.
